Quest Completion = Mesos Pay out

The below posting is more for personal keeping but if you see a particular quest you know how to complete or can help with doing so, I have been paying people in out guild mesos lately.

I've come to a bit of stand still with quests, so this is more for my notes and helping me determine which ones I should knock off my list or issues I have had.

Some of the notes I am making to write to nexon, hopefully they will understand a majority of their quests are either impossible or never going to be completed. I did not include horntail or boss quest like silent crusade boss.


Job (1)

Tristan's Successor - Quest Over level 50

Stop Balrog from reviving 200 times.

Comments: No one Balrogs anymore, not even once. This quest is asking for you to kill Balrog 200 times! Extremely unlikely even for the best of players until the quest is changed.

Victoria Island (7)

Exchanging Greeting with Mar - Over level 8

Bring a Dry Treat to Mar the Fairy.

Comments: Impossible to complete seeing as nexon has removed Dry Treat From the game. Do they know this? Not available in any store. Checked all monster on database and dry treat does not drop either. Strange.

Captain Al's Passing of Knowledge = Over level 10

Get a total of a least 2000 Reps and bring it down to 500 (family reps)

when you have 316,804 reps it would take me a very very long time to even do this. Over a years time at the current reps I have and am building. Was there a specific time frame I was supposed to complete this quest in?


Amoria : Sakura Garden - Over level 35

Bring Jacob 25 Cherry Blossom seeds 10 Silk Feathers and 10 leathers.

The silk feathers and cherry blossom seeds seem to not drop. Even on cellions... am I missing something here. More research needed.

Talking Tree's Request 2 - Over level 45

5 intelligence potion II.

I just need someone to make it. Or have an alt craft.

Information Dealer's Request 2 -Over level 45

Red Moon Gloves crafted

Can be crafted just time consuming.

The Strange Man - Over level 50

20 Skins of Balrog skin

Do I have to kill Boss Balrog or can I get the materials elsewhere.. anything to avoid balrog runs.

Manji and Balrog - Over level 50

Form expedition and kill Balrog once

Same as above. Balrog is not worth the time, no one will run. even on scania!


Ludus Lake (1)

The Missing Mechanical Parts - Over level 60

Jump Quest/ Gather 10 mechanical parts and bring them back to cheng.

Actually the most frustrating jump quest in the game. I have tried ample times with no success. I have completed every single other jump quest even zakum. But the conveyor belts make this quest unbearable. Video/ Help needed?

Mu lung and Nihal Desert (1)

Zenumist and the Ostracized Research. - over level 85

Get Yulete's Lab report.

I completed the pq romeo and juliet, both sides, as stated. and still i cant access his lab. No one seems to have any idea on what im missing. Forfieted twice to make sure it wasn't glitched. Very confusing quest.

Leafre (1)

Soaring on a Mount - Over level 120

50 million to fly

Nothing wrong here, just have not dropped the 50 million!

World Tour (5)

Find Mariwaka's Purse! - Over level 45

From Leader A or B get 1 Purse.

My goodness this is another quest i can not figure out. Why do the leaders look different on hidden street. What is the drop rate. Old Glass show drop rate... oh please no.

Return of Capt. Latanica - No quest cap/min?

Kill Skily Ancor selki and slimy.

I will complete this one soon. THe quest tend to re pop for me though. this and "savior of Ulu city. never goes to completed?!?

Read the Newspaper - Over level 25

Bring 1 Newspaper hat to Tsuri

Well according to all the research I have done. Newspaper hat does not exist except in gatchapon. Scarcrows USED TO DROP, now how do I complete.

Umi's Ambition - Over level 50 quest

Pay 5 million , then 400 barnyards, then 10 ori plates.

Quest has worst payout i have seen, and only rewards 2000 exp and random 30 percent scroll, lvl 50 equip? Last on my list. I get mad just looking at it.

Secret of Ninja Castle - Over level 60

Part 2 where you get 50 Ninto scrolls and 1 Kacchuu Musha Fragment

The isssue with this is not the quest but the actual mini boss, Kacchuu Musha. He has a very small chance of summoning, when he does, even at 40 levels above him, he dissipates after a certain amount of being hit. I can get him half way down and poof... he goes away. After that I seem to never be able to get him on the channel for the next 24 hours. Attempted many times. Top of my list!

Entire quest chain is bugged. No matter what part you are on, even after killing Krexel Boss, the quest will appear on available. As if you have not completed it!http://global.hidden-street.net/monster/krexel-3

This quest was fixed. Dry treats are out of the game, but nexon has put in apples instead. FINALLY!

Phew...quite a hit list there. Good luck completing it =O

As for quest list,once I made it a point to complete any JQ I get my hands on. As was the case for that Mechanical Parts quest. It was the most annoying,I agree. I completed it on my BaM I think. Though it was like a year ago. So my memory might be sketchy.

As with all JQs,its sometimes sheer dumb luck. I got thru the conveyor belts fine enough (since I was pro at Megaman-1st game ^^). THen I encountered the spiders. The patterns are pretty hard to calculate. So I simply ran thru it with no regards to calculating the pattern. I got knocked around a few times but always managed to get a foothold.

Primary advice is,if you can, make your move when spiders are lower than you ,meaning let them swing down from their webs past you (especially when you have to jump to a higher platform) . Because when you jump,you'll be in the path of the oncoming spider and get hit mid-jump (definitely knocked down and restart). if you absolutely cant dodge one,crouch down. Reduced knockdown that way. and take advantage of some of these hits to rush through to get a better foothold. Getting a fast paced weapon (whip, cash shop item?) might help as well. I think I have a red whip to give it to ya. I'll have to confirm it though.

One thing I noted though - there is an extra bucket at the end. you may not need to get ALL the parts here. (but revamp might change that as well)

very helpful, im going through some of the recently added "title quests now" Some are impossible based on what server your in :

So for the titles that say, have 15 level XX level characters, this is impossible. Maybe not for scania, broa, and the older servers, but at least for El Nido it is indeed impossible.
